Pandanus baptistii variegata is a tropical shrub with long, pointed leaves. The leaves have many yellow and green stripes along the length of the leaf. In nature, this shrub can grow up to 2 meters tall with a small woody trunk and many roots growing from it. In landscaping, people usually only use shrubs 30-50 cm tall.
PLANT CARE
LIGHT
The plant can grow and develop well in a sunny environment. Only suitable for growing outdoors and in places with a large amount of sunlight. The plant is not suitable for growing indoors. However, if grown indoors, you can place the plant next to a large window with lots of sunlight or plant it on the balcony.
SOIL
Suitable for many types of soil but must be well drained.
WATER
Because it lives in the sun, the plant needs a lot of water. However, the tree cannot tolerate waterlogging. If you water too much, the roots will rot and the plant will wilt. Make sure the soil is well-drained and water the plant once every 1 or 2 days depending on climate conditions. It can also withstand drought for a certain period of time.
